Skye Mountain Lodge holiday house

How to find us

Via the Skye Bridge

Cross the Skye Bridge.

Travel north on the A87 towards Broadford.

Continue on the A87 through Broadford.

In Broadford, take the road signposted for Elgol B8083 (turning just by the Broadford Hotel).

Torrin is approx. 7 miles or 12 minutes along this single track road. Halfway through the village of Torrin, look out for the sign for Skye Mountain Lodge and immediately turn left.

Travel along a minor road and turn off at the 2nd road on the right, until you see the sign for Skye Mountain Lodge.

Continue up a slight incline for a few yards, until you arrive at Skye Mountain Lodge.

The Torrin area is in many ways a hidden gem with a diversity of habitat, e.g. mountain, moorland, sea-shore, sea marsh, sea cliffs, and beach.

With much to see, from otters to the iconic golden eagle, our local area is a paradise for photographers.

Many other interests including geological, caving, archaeological and historical, can be pursued in this locality.

Elgol (8 miles from Torrin) boat trips are strongly recommended as an excellent day out, visit Loch Coruisk deep in the Cuillin Mountains or some of the islands of the Inner Hebrides, with the possibility of sightings of dolphins, porpoises, whales or basking sharks amid dramatic scenery.
